Best-Paper-Proceedings 2021: Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management

We are very pleased that two papers of the TIE Institute have been selected to be one of the best accepted papers at the 2021 Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (AoM).

The paper "Beyond Fundraising - Token Dispersion and Venture Performance in Initial Coin Offerings" by Christian Schäfer and Steffen Strese has been selected to be one of the best accepted papers in the Entrepreneurship Division (ENT) at the 2021 Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (AoM).
Christian and Steffen examine the relation of ICO funding signals and post-ICO token returns. While in other funding methods such as IPOs or crowdfunding, higher equity retention is considered a signal-of-value, they reveal that higher token dispersion positively relates to post-ICO token returns.

The paper "What Can the Coach Do: The Role of the Coach's Self-Awareness in Creating a Good Working Alliance" by Bastian Hechenrieder and Tessa Flatten has been selected to be one of the best accepted papers in the Education and Development (MED) Division at the 2021 Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (AoM).
